Step Reader is excellent to use for reading through the Bible or a long article/document on your computer and on your phone and not lose your place either way. You can begin on your computer, continue on your phone, and 2 weeks later, read on your computer where you left off, and find your place. It's like an electronic bookmark for each of the books/items you are reading. It also lets you pace yourself so you can take your time on each verse or text instead of rushing through it.
