Psa 1:4  The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away.

Psa 1:5  Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;

Psa 1:6  for the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

Psa 2:1  Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?

Psa 2:2  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying,

Psa 2:3  “Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.”

Psa 2:4  He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision.

Psa 2:5  Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying,

Psa 2:6  “As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill.”

Psa 2:7  I will tell of the decree: The LORD said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you.

Psa 2:8  Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession.

Psa 2:9  You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.”

Psa 2:10  Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth.

Psa 2:11  Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

Psa 2:12  Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

Psa 3:1  A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. O LORD, how many are my foes! Many are rising against me;

Psa 3:2  many are saying of my soul, “There is no salvation for him in God.” Selah

Psa 3:3  But you, O LORD, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.

Psa 3:4  I cried aloud to the LORD, and he answered me from his holy hill. Selah

Psa 3:5  I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the LORD sustained me.

Psa 3:6  I will not be afraid of many thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around.

Psa 3:7  Arise, O LORD! Save me, O my God! For you strike all my enemies on the cheek; you break the teeth of the wicked.

Psa 3:8  Salvation belongs to the LORD; your blessing be on your people! Selah

Psa 4:1  To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. A Psalm of David. Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have given me relief when I was in distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer!

Psa 4:2  O men, how long shall my honor be turned into shame? How long will you love vain words and seek after lies? Selah

Psa 4:3  But know that the LORD has set apart the godly for himself; the LORD hears when I call to him.

Psa 4:4  Be angry, and do not sin; ponder in your own hearts on your beds, and be silent. Selah

Psa 4:5  Offer right sacrifices, and put your trust in the LORD.

Psa 4:6  There are many who say, “Who will show us some good? Lift up the light of your face upon us, O LORD!”

Psa 4:7  You have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound.

Psa 4:8  In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.

Psa 5:1  To the choirmaster: for the flutes. A Psalm of David. Give ear to my words, O LORD; consider my groaning.

Psa 5:2  Give attention to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to you do I pray.

Psa 5:3  O LORD, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch.

Psa 5:4  For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil may not dwell with you.

Psa 5:5  The boastful shall not stand before your eyes; you hate all evildoers.

Psa 5:6  You destroy those who speak lies; the LORD abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.

Psa 5:7  But I, through the abundance of your steadfast love, will enter your house. I will bow down toward your holy temple in the fear of you.

Psa 5:8  Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before me.

Psa 5:9  For there is no truth in their mouth; their inmost self is destruction; their throat is an open grave; they flatter with their tongue.

Psa 5:10  Make them bear their guilt, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; because of the abundance of their transgressions cast them out, for they have rebelled against you.

Psa 5:11  But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you.

Psa 5:12  For you bless the righteous, O LORD; you cover him with favor as with a shield.

Psa 6:1  To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments; according to The Sheminith. A Psalm of David. O LORD, rebuke me not in your anger, nor discipline me in your wrath.

Psa 6:2  Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am languishing; heal me, O LORD, for my bones are troubled.

Psa 6:3  My soul also is greatly troubled. But you, O LORD—how long?

Psa 6:4  Turn, O LORD, deliver my life; save me for the sake of your steadfast love.

Psa 6:5  For in death there is no remembrance of you; in Sheol who will give you praise?

Psa 6:6  I am weary with my moaning; every night I flood my bed with tears; I drench my couch with my weeping.

Psa 6:7  My eye wastes away because of grief; it grows weak because of all my foes.

Psa 6:8  Depart from me, all you workers of evil, for the LORD has heard the sound of my weeping.

Psa 6:9  The LORD has heard my plea; the LORD accepts my prayer.

Psa 6:10  All my enemies shall be ashamed and greatly troubled; they shall turn back and be put to shame in a moment.

Psa 7:1  A Shiggaion of David, which he sang to the LORD concerning the words of Cush, a Benjaminite. O LORD my God, in you do I take refuge; save me from all my pursuers and deliver me,

Psa 7:2  lest like a lion they tear my soul apart, rending it in pieces, with none to deliver.

Psa 7:3  O LORD my God, if I have done this, if there is wrong in my hands,

Psa 7:4  if I have repaid my friend with evil or plundered my enemy without cause,

Psa 7:5  let the enemy pursue my soul and overtake it, and let him trample my life to the ground and lay my glory in the dust. Selah

Psa 7:6  Arise, O LORD, in your anger; lift yourself up against the fury of my enemies; awake for me; you have appointed a judgment.

Psa 7:7  Let the assembly of the peoples be gathered about you; over it return on high.

Psa 7:8  The LORD judges the peoples; judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness and according to the integrity that is in me.

Psa 7:9  Oh, let the evil of the wicked come to an end, and may you establish the righteous— you who test the minds and hearts, O righteous God!

Psa 7:10  My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart.

Psa 7:11  God is a righteous judge, and a God who feels indignation every day.

Psa 7:12  If a man does not repent, God will whet his sword; he has bent and readied his bow;

Psa 7:13  he has prepared for him his deadly weapons, making his arrows fiery shafts.

Psa 7:14  Behold, the wicked man conceives evil and is pregnant with mischief and gives birth to lies.

Psa 7:15  He makes a pit, digging it out, and falls into the hole that he has made.

Psa 7:16  His mischief returns upon his own head, and on his own skull his violence descends.

Psa 7:17  I will give to the LORD the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the LORD, the Most High.

Psa 8:1  To the choirmaster: according to The Gittith. A Psalm of David. O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.

Psa 8:2  Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.

Psa 8:3  When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,

Psa 8:4  what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?

Psa 8:5  Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.

Psa 8:6  You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet,

Psa 8:7  all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field,

Psa 8:8  the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas.

Psa 8:9  O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

Psa 9:1   To the choirmaster: according to Muth-labben. A Psalm of David. I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.

Psa 9:2  I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

Psa 9:3  When my enemies turn back, they stumble and perish before your presence.

Psa 9:4  For you have maintained my just cause; you have sat on the throne, giving righteous judgment.

Psa 9:5  You have rebuked the nations; you have made the wicked perish; you have blotted out their name forever and ever.

Psa 9:6  The enemy came to an end in everlasting ruins; their cities you rooted out; the very memory of them has perished.

Psa 9:7  But the LORD sits enthroned forever; he has established his throne for justice,

Psa 9:8  and he judges the world with righteousness; he judges the peoples with uprightness.

Psa 9:9  The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.

Psa 9:10  And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.

Psa 9:11  Sing praises to the LORD, who sits enthroned in Zion! Tell among the peoples his deeds!

Psa 9:12  For he who avenges blood is mindful of them; he does not forget the cry of the afflicted.

Psa 9:13  Be gracious to me, O LORD! See my affliction from those who hate me, O you who lift me up from the gates of death,

Psa 9:14  that I may recount all your praises, that in the gates of the daughter of Zion I may rejoice in your salvation.

Psa 9:15  The nations have sunk in the pit that they made; in the net that they hid, their own foot has been caught.

Psa 9:16  The LORD has made himself known; he has executed judgment; the wicked are snared in the work of their own hands. Higgaion. Selah

Psa 9:17  The wicked shall return to Sheol, all the nations that forget God.

Psa 9:18  For the needy shall not always be forgotten, and the hope of the poor shall not perish forever.

Psa 9:19  Arise, O LORD! Let not man prevail; let the nations be judged before you!

Psa 9:20  Put them in fear, O LORD! Let the nations know that they are but men! Selah

Psa 10:1  Why, O LORD, do you stand far away? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?
